First demo from a side project of Anaal Nathrakh's Irrumator, released around the same time as Nathrakh's debut and a couple other side project demos. Damn these not-lazy people. This sounds similar to AN's debut but stylistically is more 'orthodox' Black Metal...I hate that label, even though I know I just used it, but methinks it's the best way to avoid misleading you into thinking there's punk stuff going on if I'd've said 'early BM'. Big Mayhem influence, with Celtic Frost put into my head in the slower Where I Walk after I picked up on the self-knowing HEY!!! Man, how could anyone resist a Warrior-ism? The Beatles pioneered so much in music but not that. So their other qualities matter little to me (that is a lie).
This demo sounds similar to AN and Mayhem but distinct enough to warrant listening to. That's not me trying to be kind, fukinel. If you like Anaal Nathrakh, Mayhem, Black Metal in general then get this. If you've been listening to nothing but the aforementioned for a week then sure, this may bore you, but you're a fool and should mix some Beatles into your listening. & Celtic Frost. Always.
